Daily Prayer

Daily prayer is an integral part of worship that a Muslim offers five times a day. Submitting oneself to the command of Allah Almighty through prayer is an act highly cherished by every Muslim. Allah Almighty says, “I have not created jinn-kind and human-kind except that they should worship Me.” (51:56)

At New Madinah College we understand that it is compulsory upon all mature Muslims to perform five daily prayers. Rest assured your child will learn the importance of prayer and the correct method of performing prayer throughout the course of their Islamic education. Students will also take part in a daily prayer session at midday to fulfil the obligation of the midday prayer.

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH was asked, “What is the thing that Allah Almighty loves most?” Where upon the Prophet replied “Prayer in it’s time.”

The daily prayer strengthens the foundations of our faith. It prepares a person to live a life of goodness and obedience to Allah Almighty, and it builds courage and determination. Every time we perform our prayer, we renew our commitments to Allah Almighty and we rid ourselves from worldly pressures.
