• Expertise in data-driven whole-school planning and direction.
• Proven skills in change management, innovation, and alignment with NSW Department of Education and Communities.
2. Lead and manage inclusive whole school teaching and learning:
• Experience in spearheading high-expectation learning experiences.
• Management skills relating to child protection and maximizing student outcomes.
• Expertise in individualized and equitable curriculum design and delivery.
3. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills:
• Ethical and principled leadership focused on quality education.
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and drive school direction via effective relationships.
• Expertise in fostering inclusive school/community partnerships.
4. Manage the development and performance of staff:
• Experience in integrating the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and developing staff capabilities.
• Proven success in fostering an environment of trust, respect, and cooperation.
• Understanding and managing the BOSTES accreditation process.
5. Effective and equitable resource management:
• Leadership in school strategic planning aligned with NSW Government and Department priorities.
• Skills in managing school staffing, curriculum, physical environment, and financial resources.
• Proficiency in risk management and compliance with work health and safety requirements.
6. Implement the Department’s Aboriginal education policies:
• Demonstrated ability to promote improved achievement, attendance, and retention of Aboriginal students.
• Experience in providing learning about Aboriginal histories, cultures, and languages.
• Understanding and application of the Department’s policies and strategies relating to Aboriginal education.
