At New Madinah College we have chosen ‘Striving for Excellence’ to be our motto, we aim to teach student’s to strive for excellence in everything they wish to pursue in their lives. By promoting ‘excellence’ in our educational style and programs, In-Shaa-Allah students of New Madinah College will grow to become responsible and respected people amongst their communities. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH said, “Verily Allah has written ihsan (excellence) upon all things.”

When the Prophet PBUH used the words “Allah has written excellence upon all things,” scholars explained the word “written” implies obligation. It is therefore an obligation upon all of us to strive for excellence in everything we do.

‘Excellence” includes doing things completely, pleasantly, in good faith, and to the best of our ability.

The inspriation for the name 'New Madinah College' came from the love of our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH and his city Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah. We ask Allah Almighty to make New Madinah College an active learning centre like that of the Masjid of the Prophet PBUH.

Mosaic Star

The mosaic star is a representation of Islam, the beauty of Islam, the unification of Islam and the art or Islam.

Aboriginal Symbols

Expressing love, respect and appreciation towards the Aboriginal community, we used Aboriginal symbols which represent family sitting around a campfire passing down knowledge.

As Muslims our objective in life is to 'Strive for Excellence', striving for excellence in our relationships, our work, our studies but most importantly striving for excellence in our faith. We wear this ribbon with pride, we are a college that will be 'Striving for Excellence' in everything that we do.

Open Book

The open Quran sitting on a reading stand in the centre represents learning in light of the Quran and Sunnah.

The stars are a representation of Australia and our pride and joyousness for being Australians. It is a great honour for us to be actively participating to the betterment of the Australian community.
