Responsibilities:
Classroom Assistance: Provide support to teachers in managing classroom activities and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
Student Support: Work closely with students to provide individualized attention, assistance, and guidance as needed.
Materials Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials, resources, and classroom setups.
Supervision: Monitor students during breaks, activities, and outings to ensure their safety and well-being.
Grading and Record Keeping: Help with grading assignments, maintaining records, and updating student progress reports.
Behavioural Support: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment by addressing students’ behavioural and emotional needs.
Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement educational strategies and initiatives effectively.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant coursework in education or child development is a plus.
Passion for Education: A genuine interest in contributing to students’ learning and growth.
Communication Skills: Clear communication and the ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Adaptability: Flexibility to assist in various classroom tasks and adapt to changing situations.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset to work harmoniously with teachers and staff members.
Compassion: Empathy and understanding when interacting with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, resources, and classroom activities efficiently.
Tech Savviness: Basic familiarity with educational software and tools.
Previous Experience: Experience as a teacher’s aid or working with students is a plus.
