Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
As we reach the end of Term 2, it is wonderful to reflect on what has been a busy, rewarding, and memorable term at New Madinah College. Over the past ten weeks, our students have embraced many opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. From our Athletics Carnival and excursions to fundraising events, slime the teacher and countless classroom achievements, our students have demonstrated enthusiasm, resilience, and a willingness to challenge themselves. It has been a pleasure to see their confidence and growth continue to develop throughout the term.
None of this would be possible without the dedication of the staff, who consistently go above and beyond to support and nurture our students. Their commitment to providing a caring and engaging learning environment is greatly appreciated.
Newsletter – 2026 – Vol#2
As‑SalāmuʿAlaykum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,
Welcome back to another exciting term, In sha Allah. It has been wonderful to see our learners settle straight back into their routines and give their best effort from the very beginning. We have many exciting events and opportunities planned for the term ahead, In sha Allah.
Our students have commenced their Athletics program with Gecko Sports in preparation for our upcoming Athletics Carnival. We are also pleased to share that Ms Maysah and Ms Tradie have successfully formed an all girls Oztag team. They have also encouraged Mr Mohammed and Sheikh Ayad to support one another in organising a boys’ soccer team.
In addition, we also look forward to our upcoming Hajj Simulation and Sunnah Day, which are always valuable and engaging experiences for our students.

Learning Quran
The Holy Quran is the word of Allah Almighty, learning and understanding the Quran is an obligation upon every Muslim. Taking advantage of our children’s youth in teaching them about the Quran is fundamentally important. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: “The best amongst you is he who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.“ (Bukhari)

Sunnah
Allah Almighty sent the Prophet Muhammad PBUH as a guidance for mankind. We attain the pleasure of Allah SWT by learning and following in the footsteps of the Prophet PBUH. Allah SWT says: “Say, ‘O Muhammad’ If you indeed love Allah then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.“ (3:31)

Arabic
Allah Almighty chose the Arabic language from amongst all the languages of the world, past, present and future, to be the language of the Quran revealed to the whole of mankind. It is a duty upon Muslims to understand the Quran and Sunnah, Allah Almighty says: “Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Recital in order that you may understand.“ (12:2)
