Are your children ready to saddle up and hit the trails?
The New Madinah College recently launched a 10-week horse riding program, in partnership with Rockies Riding Ranch, located in the picturesque town of Young, NSW. The course is designed for students in Years 6 to 10, and aims to teach them the fundamentals of horse riding in a safe and supportive environment.
The first session of the program took place this week, and students were eager to get started. After a brief introduction to horse care and safety, they were paired up with their trusty steeds and given a demonstration on how to mount and dismount. Once everyone was comfortable in the saddle, they were ready to hit the trails and put their new skills to the test.
Over the course of the program, students will learn everything from basic riding techniques to more advanced skills like trail riding. They will also have the opportunity to bond with their horses and develop a deeper understanding of these majestic animals.
The program is led by experienced instructors from Rockies Riding Ranch, who are passionate about sharing their love of horse riding with the next generation. They are dedicated to ensuring that every student feels safe, comfortable, and confident in the saddle, and are committed to providing a fun and rewarding experience for all.
