
About the role:
The successful applicant will deliver engaging and effective teaching programmes for primary-aged students, create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment, and support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community, and uphold and promote the Islamic ethos and values of the College.
Commencement date: January 2027
Key responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective teaching programmes for primary-aged students
Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community
Uphold and promote the Islamic ethos and values of the College
About you:
Relevant teaching qualifications and current accreditation to teach in NSW
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Understanding of, or commitment to, the Islamic values and mission of the College (desirable)
Experience teaching in a primary school setting (desirable)
