We are thrilled to announce that New Madinah College is participating in the Jump Rope for Heart program this term. This fantastic initiative by the Heart Foundation combines fundraising with physical activity, aiming to get our students moving and promote heart health.

Why Jump Rope for Heart?

Jump Rope for Heart is an excellent way for students to stay active while supporting a good cause. Skipping ropes will be available on school grounds, and we encourage everyone to participate in raising funds for lifesaving research and support programs.

What’s in Store?

Over the next few weeks, our students will learn new skipping skills, increase their physical activity, and gain valuable knowledge about heart health. The program will conclude with our school-wide ‘Jump Off Day’ on [insert date of Jump Off Day]. This event will be an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their new skills to their friends.

How to Get Involved

Parents can register their children online to access additional skipping resources and create a secure webpage for fundraising. Here are some benefits of signing up online:

  • Easily raise funds.
  • Track skipping skills progress and earn virtual badges.
  • Post updates so family and friends can follow their journey.
  • Access extra skipping resources.

Visit www.jumprope.org.au/parents to register and get started. Your child should have also brought home a ‘Parent and Guardian Guide’ flyer with more information. If you didn’t receive it, the website has all the details you need.

We are excited about this opportunity to promote fitness and support the Heart Foundation. Thank you for joining us in Jump Rope for Heart!

Best regards,
